Four Consciousnesses

The Four Consciousnesses (Chinese: 四个意识) is a political concept by Chinese Communist Party (CCP) general secretary Xi Jinping in January 2016. The concept includes political consciousness,[a] consciousness of the overall situation,[b] consciousness of the core,[c] and compliance consciousness.[d][1][2]

The Four Consciousnesses was first proposed on 29 January 2016 at a meeting of the CCP Politburo.[3][4]
