The Bristol Entertainment is 1971 TV play starring Brian Blessed, Bernard Holley, Phyllida Law, Angharad Rees, Peter Sallis, Eric Thompson and Brian Wilde. It was made by the BBC, produced in colour and screened on 3 December 1971.[1][2] [better source needed]

Set in 1971 a great city located in England named Bristol has gained a reputation over the pass thousand years of having gossip, scandals, successes, disasters, eccentricities and cupidity that lie behind the facades in the city and the people who live in the city always try to succeed in hoping that there lives are worth remembering from the city. Bishop Wolstan and his friends are also trying to do the same thing like everyone else who has lived in the city has done.

Production
[edit]Everything in the movie was taken from factual records, memories and newspapers of Bristol. It's believed that the stuff about Bristol shown in this movie may even be true.[3] [citation needed]
Reception
[edit]The play was first broadcast on 3 December 1971 on BBC Two and it was later rebroadcast again on 23 December 1972 on BBC Two.[4][non-primary source needed] While the film has survived in the BBC Archives it's unfortunately not available to watch on anywhere.[5]
