The Faculty of Natural, Mathematical & Engineering Sciences (NMES) is one of nine faculties at King’s College London[1].

Located primarily on King's Strand Campus, NMES comprises the departments of Chemistry, Engineering, Informatics, Mathematics and Physics. NMES also conducts teaching in chemistry and physics on its Waterloo campus, with the Department of Chemistry located at Britannia House on King’s Guy's campus. King’s was the first English university to establish an engineering department in 1838[2].

The faculty is partnered with the Francis Crick Institute[3], the London Centre for Nanotechnology[4] and the Thomas Young Centre[5].

Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II opened the Bush House complex on the Strand campus on 19 March 2019, which houses the Department of Informatics[6].
