James Robert Carter [1](born 24 September 1997) is an English music producer and DJ. After releasing an official remixes for Rhianna[2] in 2017, he appeared on BBC Introducing [3]
In 2018 he released remixes for James Arthur[4] and Ava Max[5] and his track Hands In the Fire became a viral hit as a clothes swapping craze on Douyin, the Chinese version of TikTok [6] with an estimated 150 millions streams[7]
His 2020 track Almost Love has so far amassed 44 Million global streams.[8]
In 2021 he appeared at Henley Festival supporting Madness.[9]
Bad Memories, a collaboration with Meduza, FASTBOY and Elley Duhé was awarded BBC Radio 1's hottest record in the world upon its June 2022 release[10], reaching No. 3 in the Dutch top 40, where it is currently the longest on chart single[11]. It is certified Gold in Greece, Platinum in Poland and has reached No. 27 in the UK dance charts and No 80 in the UK singles. Aslo in 2022 he released official remixes of Tom Walker and Robin Schultz "Sun Will Shine" and David Guetta and Becky Hill's Crazy What Love Can Do.
