Chandrashekar Channapatna Rajannachar, is an Indian psychiatrist and philanthropist known for adopting villages around Bangalore, treating the underprivileged and creating awareness about mental health.[1] He is the founder of Samadhana, a NGO providing free mental health services.[2] He is known as the "People's Psychiatrist" and was awarded the Padma Shri, the fourth-highest civilian award of India in 2024 for his contribution towards the field of medicine.
