The Bell County Documentarian Correspondents Society (BCDCS) is an unincorporated journalism organization based in Bell County, Texas. Co-founded by students Thomas William Woolbright Jr. and Nicholas Duane Blount Jr. in 2023, BCDCS provides free news coverage primarily focused on Bell County through social media platforms, including Facebook and Instagram. The organization reports on local events, incidents, and community happenings, and occasionally covers national or out-of-state news. BCDCS also offers footage, images, and descriptions to local news agencies. As a grassroots entity, BCDCS operates independently with a commitment to factual journalism and community transparency.
