Alex Hillkurtz is a British-American artist known for his storyboard and illustration on feature films and also his watercolor art.
Career
[edit]He has worked on many feature films as storyboard artist and illustrator. He worked in Los Angeles for many years on a variety of feature films from Vanilla Sky to Captain America: The Winter Soldier[1].
He moved to Paris with his wife Tiffany Hillkurtz and moved to watercolor art.[2] He has found large success with his art, being invited to International Watercolour Masters Arena in 2024.[3]
He wrote a book about watercolor art called: Sketching Techniques for Artists.
Awards
