Comment: Zero evidence of notability, not one of the sources cited contributes towards WP:ORG. Given that, and the number of earlier declines, I can only conclude that better sources are unlikely to be available and the subject is therefore not notable enough to warrant inclusion. To prevent further reviewer effort being expended on this draft, I am now rejecting rather than merely declining this. DoubleGrazing (talk) 13:29, 19 April 2025 (UTC)
Comment: It's been over a year since the initial decline, and it's clear you don't understand the criteria. This will probably be permanently rejected the next time it is submitted without substantial improvement, so please read the guidelines carefully before submitting again. School yearbooks, the school website, the school's joint venture partner, listings etc. are all of no use in establishing notability. Greenman (talk) 11:49, 19 April 2025 (UTC)
Comment: Why would you resubmit a declined draft without making any changes? 4.37.252.50 (talk) 17:47, 3 February 2025 (UTC)
Comment: Secondary, not primary, coverage is required to establish notability. C F A 💬 02:16, 7 August 2024 (UTC)

Al Batinah International School (Arabic: مدرسة الباطنة العالمية), also known as ABIS, is a non-profit, private International Baccalaureate (IB) day school located in Sohar, Oman.[1][2] It has approximately near 400 students and 40 teaching staff. One of Oman's 34 international schools, it has been in operation since 2007.[3] ABIS offers education from kindergarten through grade twelve and is an accredited member of the Council of International Schools (CIS).[4][5] It is jointly owned by Sohar Aluminium and OQ. The current principal of the school is Dominic Robeau.[6]
History
[edit]The school was established in 2007 by Sohar Aluminium. Then recently created, they decided to found Al Batinah International School to provide education for Omani and expatriate families moving to the area. In 2010, the school became authorized to offer the IB curriculum and was authorized to offer the inquiry-based PYP (Primary Years Programme) program of the International Baccalaureate. The IB Diploma Programme and MYP Programme (Middle Years Programme) were both added in 2013 and 2020, making ABIS an IB Continuum World School. The school is authorized by the Omani Ministry of Education and accredited by the University of Cambridge.[6]
Matthew Richmond, Ferdi Kaya, and Michael DeMaranville are the current coordinators for the PYP, MYP, and DP Programmes, respectively.[2]
