The ASP-30 Automatic Cannon

The ASP-30 is an automatic cannon, designed to fire at lightly armored vehicles, soft targets, and personnel, made by McDonnell Douglas Helicopter Systems. The ASP-30 was created to be a replacement for the M2 HB machine gun and the Mk19 that are mounted on vehicles. The gun never fully left the prototype stage, and was only produced 23 times. It took after the M230 Chain Gun, using the same dual purpose ammunition that it used.
