Balaban (Persian: بالابان)^[a] is a village in Razakan Rural District^[2] of the Central District in Shahriar County, Tehran province, Iran.

The village did not appear in the 2006 and 2011 National Censuses.^[3]^[4] The 2016 census measured the population of the village as 156 people in 41 households.^[1]
