Altura is an unincorporated community on the Southern Ute Indian Reservation in Archuleta County, Colorado, United States.[2]
History
[edit]The Southern Ute Indian Reservation was created on November 9, 1878.[3] Archuleta County was created on April 14, 1885.[1]
Geography
[edit]Altura is located in Archuleta County at coordinates 37°11′00″N 107°11′28″W / 37.18333°N 107.1912°W at an elevation of 7,159 feet (2,182 m).[2]
