The 2025 Southland Conference baseball tournament will be held from May 15 through 18 and May 22 to 24. The top eight regular season finishers of the league's eleven teams will meet in double-elimination tournaments held at the home fields of the #1 and #2 seeded teams. The finals will be held at the home field of the highest remaining seeded team.[2][3]
Seeding and format
[edit]The tournament format is the same as used in the conference 2022 baseball tournament. The top eight finishers from the regular season will be seeded one through eight, and will play a two bracket, double-elimination tournament. The bracket winners will move to the championship series to be held at the home field of the highest remaining seeded team. Teams will be seeded by record within the conference with a tie–breaker system to seed teams with identical conference records. The top eight teams in the conference will qualify for the tournament.

The Southland Conference Baseball Championship will have a new look in 2025, now spanning two weekends. The first weekend will see the eight qualifying teams broken up into two brackets for two separate four-team, double-elimination tournaments hosted by the top two seeds in the conference standings. The two teams that win the brackets advance to the second weekend, a best-of-three-game series held at the highest remaining seed to determine the 2025 SLC Champion and who gets the automatic berth into the NCAA Regionals.
