American college football season
The 1999 Ohio State Buckeyes football team represented the Ohio State University as a member of the Big Ten Conference during the 1999 NCAA Division I-A football season. Led by 12-year head coach John Cooper, the Buckeyes compiled an overall record of 6–6 with a mark of 3–5 in conference play, tying for eight place in the Big Ten. Ohio State miss out on a bowl game first the first time since Cooper's first year's head coach, in 1988 Ohio State Buckeyes football team. The team played home games at Ohio Stadium in Columbus, Ohio.
