Zalasewo [zalaˈsɛvɔ] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Swarzędz, within Poznań County, Greater Poland Voivodeship, in west-central Poland.[1] It lies approximately 3 kilometres (2 mi) south of Swarzędz and 12 km (7 mi) east of the regional capital Poznań. Village name comes from its location versus Poznań which in direct translation could be translated as'behind forest'. It is very popular due to high number of people moving from Poznań to suburbs, locating their new homes. Although being a village, Zalasewo is one of the biggest on the voivevodships. In Zalasewo there are located two primary schools, big shopping centre "Bumerang" with multiple shops and restaurant Sphinx, supermarkets like Lidl, Biedronka, Dino.
