Woodrising is a suburb of the City of Lake Macquarie, Greater Newcastle in New South Wales, Australia, and is located northeast of the town of Toronto on the western shore Lake Macquarie.
Woodrising is also known for its urban legend amongst the locals “The Legend of Undieman” As early of reports dating back to 2009, some say that if you listen closely late at night you can hear the howls of Undie Man. Sights have been documented of seeing a ghostly figure standing on top of a tree, with a pair of undies around his head whilst also wearing nothing but undies. Legend has it that if you approach undie man, he will disappear into his own undies.
