Biography
[edit]Natapol Puthpawana was born on 13 October 1975 from Thai Father who was a doctor and Indian Muslim mother who are favor in poem. He has 3 siblings, and he is eldest of them. Natapol's surname, Puthpawana (พุทธภาวนา), made people confused despite his deep faith on Islam as the surname meaning 'Praying to Buddha'. Later, after retiring from music career, Natapol changed his name to Wirachon Satthaying.[1] Natapol graduated from Triamudomsuksanomklao School and received bachelor's degree from Martin de Tours School of Management and Economics, Assumption University.
In early life, Natapol was deep into the poem, art and philosophy from his mother. This had an impact on his later life. Later, Natapol joined Silly Fools (then Silly Foolish). At that time, it was still an underground indie metal band. Afterwards, they changed name to Silly Fools and signed to music label before releasing their first full-length album, I.Q. 180 (1998). Later, they also released Candyman (1999), Mint (2000), Juicy (2002) and last album with Silly Fools, King Size (2004).
Early in his music career, Natapol was often aloof from his religion. But later, he began to embrace religion and refused to drink alcohol during his performances and also refused to perform at alcohol-consumed restaurant. This made him and other members feud, and he later quit from his band on 26 June 2006. Shortly, he founded Hangman and released their eponymous debut album in 2007.
Natapol later quit and retired from his musical career in 2011. He then became a Muslim preacher; he also has his Muslim name as 'Firdaus'.
Business career
[edit]Weerachon, along with his friend, established Company B in 2015. At first, Company B was a halal butchery at Siam Paragon but later expanded the business to be a halal restaurant chain, the best-known restaurants are Nurtair (เนื้อแท้).[2]
