Ollama
[edit]What do you think about adding a page about Ollama? It's in Finish Wikipedia and I was thinking about adding it to Polish wiki. jcubic (talk) 00:29, 12 May 2025 (UTC)
Model Context Protocol
[edit]The article Model Context Protocol was relatively recently created, and has seen significant editing since then, but could use more eyes on it, especially from experts in this field. If you're interested in improving it, please take a look. Also I couldn't figure out if/how MCP might be incorporated into template:Generative AI &/or template:Artificial intelligence navbox, but it would seem like it could be in one of those. -- 174.17.179.188 (talk) 15:01, 13 May 2025 (UTC)
Request for Feedback on Conversational AI and Voice-First AI Drafts
[edit]Hi all — I'm currently improving two related draft articles:
They aim to expand on concepts that currently receive limited or fragmented coverage across Chatbot, Conversational user interface, and related articles.
The drafts are being built with stronger academic sourcing and a focus on distinguishing conversational and voice-first systems in public infrastructure (like transit kiosks and emergency help points) from more typical screen-based chatbots.
I'd really value any feedback from this project’s members — especially about:
- Scope: Are these appropriate subtopics?
- Merge/split: Should Voice-First be its own article or part of Conversational AI?
- Sources: Any high-quality references we should include?
Thanks for any input or collaboration you can offer!

- Hello, I’m Cyril Voyant, Director of Research at the O.I.E. laboratory, Mines Paris‑PSL, based in Sophia Antipolis. I am seeking the assistance of a neutral volunteer editor (with no personal or professional connection to me) who can review or publish a draft about me, in accordance with community standards.
- My academic credentials are publicly verifiable:
- HAL profile (116 indexed publications, participation in ANR/EU projects like SAPHIR, Fine4cast, TILOS): https://cv.hal.science/cyril-voyant Google Scholar profile (over 130 peer-reviewed articles, approximately 6,500 citations): https://scholar.google.com/citations?user=aUlP6agAAAAJ&hl=en ResearchGate profile (149 publications, around 6,157 citations): https://www.researchgate.net/profile/Cyril-Voyant.My research areas include:
- Solar irradiance forecasting applying hybrid AI/statistical models, development of novel metrics such as the stochastic coefficient of variation (sCV) and Forecastability Index.
- ClearSky‑Free forecasting using Extreme Learning Machines trained directly on raw irradiance data.
- Transfer learning and clustering techniques to deploy models in regions lacking local data.
- Complex-valued time series modeling to capture amplitude and volatility for probabilistic forecasting.
- Medical dosimetry and radiotherapy planning, notably the open‑source software LQL‑Equiv used in over 20 countries.
- Projects with national and European funding: SAPHIR, Fine4cast, TILOS. All the information and reference are availaible at https://www.cyrilvoyant.com/ . A lot reference are available in scopus, publon, mdpi interfaces.
- This initiative is strictly non-commercial, primarily aimed at improving access to my work and facilitating future scientific collaborations.
- I would be grateful to any volunteer editor, impartial and independent, who can assist in ensuring the text meets Wikipedia guidelines. I can provide access to the draft via EverybodyWiki (Cyril_voyant) or cyrilvoyant.com if needed.
- Thank you in advance to anyone willing to contribute to the rigorous and useful dissemination of this scientific work.
- Best regards,
- Cyril Voyant Cyril voyant (talk) 20:53, 6 August 2025 (UTC)

Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Inner alignment -- we need some AI-knowledgeable editors
[edit]You are invited to look at this deletion discussion and render an opinion on whether the concept of Inner alignment is notable. Thanks! --A. B. (talk • contribs • global count) 03:52, 27 June 2025 (UTC)

Revive/defunct/delete?
[edit]This WikiProject appears to be inactive, rather than semi-active: the main page has not received substantial edits in 3 years and the to-do list hasn't been updated since the start of the project. There are few participants listed, and even fewer who are still making edits and the assessment page is still just the template. This talk page is mostly the RMCD bot notifying about requested moves.
Having a strong WikiProject for AI seems important, and I think there are plenty of strong editors out there who would be motivated to contribute, but it seems the current state of affairs - a project that never really got off the ground - is probably holding back the quality of AI-related articles overall.
I'm not particularly familiar with the mechanisms behind WikiProject management - I'd be grateful if more experienced editors weighed in - but as I understand it, there are a few options:
- A concerted effort could be made to revive the project. This would probably require a small team of motivated editors cleaning up the project, building the infrastructure of the project, and trying to get some momentum going. However, the project was never particularly alive - this would be similar to starting afresh, but with more stuff to clear out of the way beforehand.
- The project could be marked as defunct, keeping the pages but redirecting interested editors to other projects.
- The project could be nominated for deletion. This is a suggested approach for WikiProjects that never got off the ground from the WikiProject guide.
The main reasons against marking as defunct or nominating for deletion are that there are ~1200 pages in the WPAI category, and a talk history here, and it might be best to retain this for future reference.
Again, I'd be grateful if experienced editors or those involved in other WikiProjects could contribute their thoughts. Nmzzzd (talk) 10:00, 16 July 2025 (UTC)
- I would be happy to help to revive this project, but like you I also don't know the ins and outs of WikiProject management. But since there doesn't seem to be much activity here I propose that we should be WP:BOLD and try to improve/revive it as best we can. WP:IAR is policy for this very reason. Revival
[edit]Task forces
[edit]I think it would be prudent to separate this project into Task forces like other projects have. Task forces for:
- hunting down LLM-generated articles and content, hallucinated sources and information
- article creation
- fringe futurism, as there is a lot of mumbo-jumbo surrounding this topic area
This might make it easier to manage the project.
Front page
[edit]Today in the next few days I'll work on refreshing the front page of the project. I'll remove dead links, add new tasks, add links, etc. I'll look into the big, active projects and use them as a guide.
@Nmzzzd: In case they don't receive a notification. TurboSuperA+(talk) 06:08, 30 July 2025 (UTC)
