Open proxies noticeboard was featured in a WikiProject Report in the Signpost on 27th June 2021.

On 28 November 2024, it was proposed that this page be moved from Wikipedia:WikiProject on open proxies to Wikipedia:WikiProject Open proxies. The result of the discussion was moved.

Wikipedia:WikiProject Open proxies → Wikipedia:Open proxies noticeboard – This is not really a "WikiProject" in the typical sense, so the name is a misnomer: this doesn't focus on improving our coverage of open proxies in article-space, but instead on identifying and blocking them.
