[edit]

Hello! I recently submitted a draft titled Draft:Ha Jee Yoon.

Ha Jee Yoon is a South Korean novelist with multiple officially published books (with ISBNs), press coverage from major media such as JoongAng Ilbo and Monthly Chosun, and serialized works in newspapers in both Korea and the U.S. Her work is also being adapted into a webtoon by Jaedam Media.

The draft includes references and satisfies notability guidelines. Could someone please take a look and let me know if anything needs improvement before it can be approved?

Thank you very much for your time!

This page should not be speedily deleted because the given information is available in Indian government official website. A personal who build a business empire from From Rs. 2000 Salary to Multi-Crore Turnover Company, deserved to be in wikipedia.

The government website is where it should be, not Wikipedia. Wikipedia articles summarize what independent reliable sources with significant coverage have chosen on their own to say about a topic. 331dot (talk) 09:50, 24 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hi! According to the editor the draft has been declined as the sources are missing, while there are in fact two. Does it mean that it's not enough? Rynodex (talk) 10:29, 24 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]

@Rynodex I think the original decline was because most of the content was unsourced. Also, it not as much about the number of sources but the quality. In order to warrant an article, you need sources that meet the notability criteria which none of them do, including the two additional you added. See Your first article. Hello, first page creation on wikipedia. I saw there is no page for the topic of Draft:SoftWare Hash IDentifier, sent a (almost empty) draft but got rejected. Can I have some clue on missed elements ? I suppose it's a relevant topic as it's similar to DOI. AbcSxyZ (talk) 17:30, 24 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Your draft has no sources. A Wikipedia article must summarize what independent reliable sources with significant coverage have chosen on their own to say about the topic. Please see Your first article. 331dot (talk) 18:28, 24 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Found signage but no sources on the topic. Checked state maps, DoT and city government website. Any help on this, thanks! JeepLibertyIsBestCar (talk) 20:47, 24 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, @JeepLibertyIsBestCar. A Wikipedia article should be a neutral summary of what several people wholly unconnected with the subject have chosen to publish about the subject in reliable publications, and very little else. (In this context, government documents aren't by people unconnected with the subject).
If you can't find several such sources, then there cannot be an article. Sorry.
My earnest advice to new editors is to not even think about trying to create an article until you have spent several weeks - at least - learning about how Wikipedia works by making improvements to existing articles. Once you have understood core policies such as verifiability, neutral point of view, reliable, independent sources, and notability, and experienced how we handle disagreements with other editors (the Bold, Revert, Discuss cycle), then you might be ready to read your first article carefully, and try creating a draft. If you don't follow this advice but try to create an article without this preparation, you are likely to have a frustrating and disappointing experience with Wikipedia. Thanks, I will keep working on refining my skills and waiting before doing things like this JeepLibertyIsBestCar (talk) 10:51, 25 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]
