The ROT13 precedent: If a Featured Article is deemed sufficiently below the standards, then the reassessment process may be accelerated. This may be referred to as a "speedy delist".

The precedent is named for its first known use, a Featured Article review (FAR) of the article ROT13 in August 2018, as seen at Wikipedia:Featured article review/ROT13/archive2. During this reassessment, the article was deemed to have a substantial number of quality issues, including poor sourcing, unreferenced sections, and comprehensiveness. Despite this nomination coming at a slow period for FAR, it gathered multiple comments within a four-hour span calling for it to be delisted immediately. The first such comment was made by the FAR initiator Bilorv on the FAR talk page, while TenPoundHammer was the first to suggest it in the FAR process proper. As a result, FAR coordinators DrKay, Casliber, and Nikkimaria delisted the article only four days into the review process.
