The Wiki Gala and fashion show is a planned gathering between the local Wikimedia NYC community and visitors from the global Wikimedia Foundation on the evening of Wednesday March 12 at Prime Produce.
This is a sequel to the March 2024 Wiki Gala at Prime Produce, the March 2023 Grand Central Salon and the March 2022 Wiki-Tent Brunch.

Wiki-fashion show

You're encouraged to come dressed in your finest Wikimedia clothing and accessories (bags, buttons, even books), or clothing connected to the topics you edit on wiki projects, show off your getup on the runway and tell the origin story of how you got them.
- In addition to explicit "wiki" swag, the Wiki Gala also welcomes you to show off clothing and accessories related to areas you have edited on, whether that be unbuilt NYC Subway extensions, late 19th century cricket, postage stamps of micronations, or possibly even culturally important topics.
- We may also have a t-shirt / swag creative design live session
