This article is about Sher Shah Suri, an Afghan ruler of Northern India. Past FA's have seen me address significant concerns regarding sourcing/citations and reworking the prose of the article including a peer review, I thought I'd give it a shot again now for FA. I found the article a slog to read. There are numerous phrases that do not sound idiomatic to my ears. I also see a problem with some of the sources, particularly the old ones pre-ISBN: it's impossible to check them. I think perhaps there is too much detail for an encyclopedia and a shorter article based on contemporary sources would be better. Clearly, this contribution is the result of a great deal of work so it's with a heavy heart that I lodge and oppose. Graham Beards (talk) 11:05, 19 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Coord note

The above comments suggest this nom is underprepared for FAC so I'll be archiving it shortly. I appreciate you took this to peer review earlier but I also note sourcing and prose concerns raised there. Mentoring might be the next road to take before considering another run at FAC.
