Music of Turkmenistan
[edit]Your reversion of my edits to Music of Turkmenistan "because they did not appear constructive" strikes me as odd. I researched several sources on Turkmen music, added those citations, condensed several pages of text into a relatively compact volume of text. I then asked two Turkmen musicians to review the edits; they approved of them. I added a section on modern classical music, another on modern pop music, and expanded the classical folk section to include a condensed synopsis I composed based on the standard text on Turkmen folk music, the 1928 book by Uspenskiy and Belyayev. I respectfully request that you revert your reversion of my additions. Allan Mustard, former U.S. ambassador to Turkmenistan (2015-2019). 108.18.142.221 (talk) 01:42, 27 December 2024 (UTC)

Tesla Cybertruck article Other Concerns section
[edit]Hey there, I noticed you removed the entry relating to the first fatal crash of the Cybertruck, I classified it as a broader concern following the paragraph above it:
"The Cybertruck's angular design and stiff stainless-steel exterior raised concerns among safety experts that it could hurt pedestrians and cyclists and damage other vehicles on roads. Particular concerns were raised about the high stiffness of the "exoskeleton" exterior, potentially reducing crumple zones. The tall, flat front of the truck may increase the severity of injuries to the legs of pedestrians struck."
Whilst I understand if the paragraph should be rewritten and made to suit the article or following from the above paragraph about the design of the Cybertruck, this also isn't the first time this incident has occurred, there have been three separate instances where the Cybertruck has spontaneously ignited causing death to almost all occupants from each incident, dying only from seemingly minor to possibly major situations where in other branded cars (including EV's) they wouldn't have proved fatal in most cases, I felt it pertinent to state that alongside the safety concerns about the Cybertruck's body since it's related to crash statistics and survivability factors, but if you also think it should be in an even more neutral position or point of view we can also do that. Eunice Spry
[edit]Hi there
You removed my statement on the Eunice Spry page that Alloma Gilbert passed away last year, saying it's unsourced and kind of trivial.
I do not believe it to be trivial. The death of her sister Victoria is mentioned in the article, and their brother Christopher has continually asserted that Alloma's illnesses were the result of abuse (as was Victoria's mental illness that led to her suicide). I think the fact that two of the three children that Spry tortured have died prematurely is entirely relevant to an article about her abuse and the consequences for those involved.
As for it being unsourced, I wonder if we can work this out. Alloma's death has been reported far less in the media than Victoria's was, but there is enough that it is clearly the truth. I initially linked to an article in The Sun that Christopher gave, but it was taken down because The Sun is not considered a reliable Wikipedia source. Beyond that, it's mostly only been discussed on social media, largely by her family and friends. How do we do this? It's so relevant to the subject of the article that I don't think the fact it hasn't been widely reported should by itself mean it shouldn't be included in the article. 81.134.47.95 (talk) 12:47, 24 February 2025 (UTC)
- Feel free to present your argument on the article's talk page, and see if there's concensus. --ZimZalaBim talk 13:55, 24 February 2025 (UTC)
- I can do, but the article's talk page is not all that active. I've posted something there before and no one has replied to me. I did think, seeing as you were the one who reverted my edit, that maybe we could work something out ourselves? (By the way, I'm the same person that posted the previous comment - just on a different network this time.) 2A0A:EF40:12AC:9B01:3953:59B5:7361:9DA1 (talk) 11:06, 25 February 2025 (UTC)
- I don't control that article and content discussions belong on the relevant talk pages, not here. --ZimZalaBim talk 13:24, 25 February 2025 (UTC)

Okay, I'll post on the talk page. If I hear nothing back, how long do you think I should wait before restoring it? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2A0A:EF40:12AC:9B01:3953:59B5:7361:9DA1 (talk) 15:41, 25 February 2025 (UTC)
