College Football Hall of Fame

As a local resident, I can attest to the demolition of Galbraith field long before 2024. I moved here in 2004 and the area was an open field (stadium gone) then. Copyright at Welbourn

Hello WhiteTailedEagle and thank you for your interest in copyright cleanup. However, I have to point out a mistake you made at Welbourn. The material you marked as a potential copyright violation is actually a quotation. It had quotation marks. Unfortunately you did not notice this. Also, the quoted material was written in 1749 and therefore does not enjoy copyright protection; it's too old, and would be okay to copy verbatim if properly attributed. Here's another mistake: Carlos Ibáñez del Campo. The editor who added the content noted in their edit summary that the material they added was copied/translated from the Spanish version of the page, located at Carlos Ibáñez del Campo. The purported source is what we call a WP:Mirror of the Spanish page. A more experienced patroller might very well have noticed this, as the purported source is formatted very much like a Wikipedia article (the bolded title; nested sections; tables and charts in the Wikipedia style, and the editor did say in their edit summary where they actually got the content).
