Question

[edit]

Hey just wanted to let you know that the page you created Temmplate:Conservatism in Belarus is in the mainspace and not the templatespace right now. Sophisticatedevening (talk) 17:57, 16 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]

You have my permission to move it into template space im currently busy WeaponizingArchitecture | yell at me 21:03, 16 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Note

[edit]

The consensus is not change Kiev to Kyiv in historical contexts. I am also not sure what this edit summary is supposed to mean. Any mass changes to historical names should be discussed first. Thanks. Mellk (talk) 06:45, 11 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]

consensus was before the full scale invasion, so I would prefer if it were reopened WeaponizingArchitecture | yell at me 12:53, 11 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Zaskarki moved to draftspace

[edit]

Thanks for your contributions to Zaskarki. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it has no sources. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.

Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. CycloneYoris talk! 22:00, 19 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your contributions to Belarusian settlements. I recommend the following sources: "Назвы населеных пунктаў Рэспублікі Беларусь" and "Гарады і вёскі Беларусі: Энцыклапедыя". Mellk (talk) 22:25, 21 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Дзякуй! Once I am finished with Finals I will write more articles. WeaponizingArchitecture | yell at me 00:26, 22 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Vectorization of "Zemecha" program in communist Ethiopia

[edit]

Hello, we are only slightly acquainted, but still. As far as I understood from the the final part of this dialogue, you are know how to vectorize old images (?). If so, then I have something that needs to be vectorized. I AM NOT REQUESTING THIS FROM YOU, BUT SIMPLY SUGGESTING, if you want and if you have time, I would be incredibly grateful if you would vectorize the emblem of the Ethiopian reformist campaign called "Zemecha". You will not find an article about it on Wikipedia now, but in the future I will definitely do so. I saw the same logo patch on all the participants of this program. I have photographs from Wikimedia, whose names will be indicated below, and there you can see a logo that is presumably directly related to "Zemecha", which I ask you to vectorize, if you have the desire and time for that. Thank you in advance.

Image names:

Members of the Ethiopian "Zemecha" program at the rally --- (best one)

Soldiers of the Ethiopian army at a pro-government rally --- it is just contains small patches with same emblem on participants uniform Algirr (talk) 03:50, 17 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]

alr I will take a look. WeaponizingArchitecture | yell at me 13:50, 17 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks) Algirr (talk) 19:42, 17 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]
if you could tell me the text on the logo (including the actual script it's in) then I'll take a crack at it, I can't read it due to picture quality WeaponizingArchitecture | yell at me 19:50, 17 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]
It's Amharic language and I'll be honest, I don't know exactly what's written there, but I have one guess: the "Zemecha" program was also called "Development through co-operation enlightenment and work". I'll try to find something about it. Algirr (talk) 19:55, 17 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]
if you could find higher quality photos I'll try to do it. WeaponizingArchitecture | yell at me 19:58, 17 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]
well, of course I will try, but what I sent it Is the best one for now Algirr (talk) 19:59, 17 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]
in extreme cases, you can do with vectorization without text, it will be OK too Algirr (talk) 20:04, 17 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]
unfortunately i have not found anything new about this yet, but i have found other emblems about Ethiopia of those years and which are also very important. please don't take it as impudence, but if you have the opportunity to do some of the ones shown below too, i would also be infinitely grateful to you....

I am especially interested in "Air Forces", "Ground Army", "Militia", "Second-" and "First Revolutionary Army". All text is translated in comments Algirr (talk) 03:22, 18 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Edit summaries

[edit]

I am not sure why you consider this to be an appropriate edit summary. Mellk (talk) 15:44, 25 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]

I was pretty angry when I did so, this stuff usually does not happen so please treat it as an isolated incident WeaponizingArchitecture | yell at me 16:19, 25 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Arbitration request declined

[edit]

Your recent request for arbitration has been declined by the Committee as out of scope. WP:CLOSECHALLENGE specifies the procedure by which a close can be challenged; note that the closer has already been asked to reconsider their close. As this is not a deletion or rename discussion, Wikipedia:Closing discussions § Challenging other closures applies. For the Arbitration Committee, HouseBlaster (talk • he/they) 02:53, 27 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]

I was pointed to ArbCom by someone on the discord, was eventually informed it was the wrong place to do so. Thanks though. WeaponizingArchitecture | yell at me 13:32, 27 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]

The fact you were "pretty angry when you made this edit" and it was an isolated incident doesn't change the fact that it happened and you do not seem to have apologised or retracted it, only given an explanation. When you get angry on Wikpedia, stop editing, do other things, get up and walk around, or whatever else helps you calm down before resuming editing. Your contributions are appreciated, but the civility policy is non-negiotable. - The Bushranger One ping only 23:22, 28 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]

A barnstar for you!

[edit]
The Original Barnstar
I see you have been blocked for apparently letting emotions get the better of you, I know Wikipedia is a frustrating environment, but it's better to invest in a boxing bag than getting yourself in trouble by saying something stupid here. As you've seen, your outbursts will only serve as a tool to get you blocked. I'm giving you this barnstar because I've seen you do good work and I hope you will continue to do so instead of falling prey to frustration which is not only disruptive but will be weaponized against you.
