Hi Viv, I know the Personnel for I can't tell you why by the Eagles and When you Believe had been reverted by Binksternet. I don't wanna get blocked by the Admins. Uniqueability23 (talk) 11:19, 2 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]

I don't know the full context but as I understand it you're talking about a reverted edit to the article When You Believe? If I understand your comment, it sounds like you're not sure why your edit was reverted.
If that's right, it might help to understand that all Wikipedia really is is a collection of summaries of other people's work. There's some more nuance to it than that, but basically all we're doing is summarizing sources. And with that, all summaries must be clearly connected to the work we're summarizing. So, if someone adds information without a citation, someone else will come in and remove it.
If you're certain that Hans Zimmer was one of the arrangers of When You Believe, you'll need to find a source that makes the specific claim and cite it in the article. Although there were additional issues with that section—namely, none of it was cited, which is presumably why Binksternet removed all of it. It's a bit confusing when you're first getting used to it, so don't worry too much if you make mistakes. I'm sure nobody will ban you if you're trying your best to figure out how this stuff works. More generally, it might help to take a look at Wikipedia:Contributing to Wikipedia which provides a good overview. Viv Desjardin (talk, contrib) 16:13, 2 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]
