Draft: Aftershock PC
[edit]Hello Theroadislong,
Hope you are well. Noticed you reviewed and declined my article on Aftershock PC, citing that there wasn't independent, secondary and reliable sources. I tried to keep the article as neutral as possible and also believed that the source meet the criteria but I understand I was wrong. May I please ask for your suggestion on what to do if I can't provide any other sources? Kindly let me know. Repsjared (talk) 17:19, 21 March 2025 (UTC)
- So you declare that you will be receiving a product discount for writing the article and now you want me to help you do this? Not going to happen. Theroadislong (talk) 17:35, 21 March 2025 (UTC)
- I frankly didn't know anything could be done and wouldn't mind sharing potential gains. Thanks for the response, anyways. Repsjared (talk) 19:57, 21 March 2025 (UTC)
- Hi Theroadislong, trust you are well. May I please ask why the COI tag is still present on the Aftershock PC article, even after your recent deletions? Also, I thought to express that deleting that the company offers "custom" laptops and desktops somewhat diminishes the specificity of the company's niche. Aftershock PC operates similarly to other custom gaming PC like Origin PC, CyberPowerPC and more, which also use the term "custom" in their Wikipedia articles. So, it's a little puzzling why the same standard doesn't apply here. I genuinely understand your efforts is to help maintain Wikipedia's notability standard for articles, but I feel the approach toward Aftershock PC has been particularly strict. Repsjared (talk) 16:40, 2 April 2025 (UTC)
- Because paid editing is held to a higher standard and you seem to be promoting this company as well as receiving payment in kind. Theroadislong (talk) 17:44, 2 April 2025 (UTC)
- I understand the concern, but the intention is not to promote the company. The goal is simply to present a clear, informative entry about the company while ensuring the article meets Wikipedia’s standards for acceptance. Any issues in the article aren't related to promoting the company, but rather to my experience as a newbie. Repsjared (talk) 21:47, 2 April 2025 (UTC)
Draft cats at Free play
[edit]Hi, Theroadislong and thanks for draftifying Draft:Free play. I noticed that you used script User:MPGuy2824/MoveToDraft; was that responsible for adding colons to the categories in this edit? Because categories protected by template {{Draft categories}} should not have colons, that defeats the purpose of the template, which is to ensure the categories are handled properly whether the page is in draft space or main space. In draft space, the categories will be inactive, and instead you will see a message like:
- This page will be placed in the following categories if it is moved to the article namespace: [Cat 1] · [Cat 2] ...
such as you can see at the bottom of Draft:Free play. When the page is moved to main space, even if the template is still there, the categories are immediately activated, such as at County of Provence. (That example may no longer be apt by the time you read this, because normally people remove the template shortly after a draft is moved to mainspace, otherwise I think a bot does so, but you can find more examples here.) Not having to add colons saves a step in draftifying, but if it is the script doing it, please lmk as I need to request a script change in that case. Thanks, and happy editing! Mathglot (talk) 17:12, 29 March 2025 (UTC)
- I guess the script did that, it certainly wasn't me Cheers. Theroadislong (talk) 17:21, 29 March 2025 (UTC)

- On the basis of being an appointed state-wide politician who is in charge as the political head of a government agency . My take! However, i know the Wikipedia:NPOLITICIAN has its layers of meaning. Twicebefore (talk) 13:13, 30 March 2025 (UTC)

Hi there, could you perhaps be more specific here, with examples of where it reads like an advertisement? I believe the article refers to a range of independent, reliable, and published sources. It is also written from a neutral point of view. Viljowf (talk) 09:41, 31 March 2025 (UTC)
- It tells us everything that the company wants us to know about them. Wikipedia is almost entirely interested in what people who have no connection with the subject, and who have not been prompted or fed information on behalf of the subject, have chosen to publish about the subject. Sahaganj Dunlop Factory
[edit]Hey, I have edited this page. Is it good now? Babin Mew (talk) 08:55, 1 April 2025 (UTC)
Hey Theroadislong. First of all, I thank you very much for your willingness to help prepare the article. I added additional, "independent", sources that attest to the content written in the article. This is in addition to the sources about Segal, from academic sites that describe his work. There are a multitude of sources that prove *all* the information in the article. What is missing? Why is it wrong? And what is the difference from the article about the other Michael Segal? The Turtle Ninja (talk) 19:35, 1 April 2025 (UTC)
- There is no difference between your draft and Michael Segal both are poorly sourced and I have tagged it as such, see other poor quality articles exist. Theroadislong (talk) 21:29, 1 April 2025 (UTC)
- Well, but now I've added additional sources from "independent" sites. There's now a source for every piece of information in the article. What's missing for the article to be ready? The Turtle Ninja (talk) 05:10, 2 April 2025 (UTC)

The article Joanna Bacon has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
notability. Being nominated for a professional award does not make someone notable
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
This is an automated notification. Please refer to the page's history for further information. DatBot (talk) 00:31, 2 April 2025 (UTC)
Request to Review Draft:Tropical Forest Forever Facility
[edit]Hey @Theroadislong – Thank you for the feedback on the Tropical Forest Forever Facility draft. I've made a few further edits and especially added citations to the Proposed structure section, as you suggested. Might you have time to review it and judge if its time to move in into article space? Thanks! Benjamin1921 (talk) 10:38, 4 April 2025 (UTC)
Hey, I've improved the draft by adding sources providing information about untiljapan with a few articles and his performances at Rolling Loud. Hope this is enough and makes him notable, would appreciate it if you'd take another look at it. Have a great weekend! Backcore (talk) 20:20, 4 April 2025 (UTC)
Inappropriate content for talk page
[edit]Hi TheRoadisLong,
On my talk page, you left a message "GlamCityz: inappropriate content for talk page"..
I didn't make any edits to the draft again. Why did I get the notice? Benjazper (talk) 16:20, 5 April 2025 (UTC)
- I removed inappropriate content from your talk page with this edit [1]. Theroadislong (talk) 16:27, 5 April 2025 (UTC)
Request for Clarification on Article Removal
[edit]I hope this message finds you well. I recently submitted a draft titled The Woo Process, which was removed with the comment that it is "contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia." I would sincerely appreciate a bit of clarification on what specifically made it unsuitable, as I am trying to understand and learn from the feedback. The source material may not be from well-known publications, which I realize could raise concerns about notability. Is there a way I could deal with this issue??
Thank you for your time and effort. DIVINA LIVLIN S (talk) 17:07, 5 April 2025 (UTC)
- Content like “Make Your Pitch” and “Secure Your Commitments” is not suitable... see Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not. Theroadislong (talk) 21:39, 5 April 2025 (UTC)
- Thank you for your feedback on my previous submission. I now understand where I went wrong. I appreciate your guidance on this.
- I would like to kindly request another opportunity to revise the content. I am really committed to rectifying the issues and aligning the article with Wikipedia’s guidelines, and will ensure it remains neutral and objective.
- Thank you again for your time and consideration. DIVINA LIVLIN S (talk) 10:59, 6 April 2025 (UTC)

[edit]Hi! I’m a new user and just rewrote the Draft:DramaBox article with updated references and a neutral tone. It was previously declined, but I believe it now meets the notability guidelines. - Horse Eye's Back, this conversation is not an appointment with a physician. It is inappropriate and insulting for you to ask about an editor's well being when discussing an unreferenced draft. Cullen328 (talk) 18:28, 8 April 2025 (UTC)
- It actually more or less is, we're all physicians at this hospital and you would expect a physician to let another physician know when they're making simple mistakes that are out of character (a physician would actually be ethically and legally obligated to do so). That seems to be both the good faith and civil way to address it. If I were making those sorts of mistakes I would want someone to tell me, if you were making them I would tell you. But if you have other suggestions I'm all ears. Horse Eye's Back (talk) 18:31, 8 April 2025 (UTC)

Response to AI Generation Tag
[edit]Thank you for the feedback. AI was used to assist in verifying references and ensuring the accuracy of mathematical formulations, particularly in the rotation matrices and angular velocity transformations. This support helped two individuals complete the article over several days — a task that would have otherwise required a larger team and more time, which was not feasible given available resources.
No original research has been introduced. Rather, the article presents a focused synthesis of established kinematic principles and applies them to a specific classification of orientation behaviour — a subject with little public coverage but supported by reliable academic sources. We welcome any further suggestions to improve clarity or neutrality.

[edit]Hi,
Don't understand...the same msg was given earlier and i've pain stakingly added all external references and edited the draft. What else is there to be done? The artist is 28 yrs old, and is a Rio paralympic torch bearer, come on...there can't be a more accomplished person qualifying for wiki than this?
With a disability of autism.
Not sure who does these reviews, sounds like an Ai not human.
Jayashree68 (talk) 15:03, 10 April 2025 (UTC)
- I am human, please lay off the personal attacks. Please read WP:NARTIST for the criteria and note that The TImes of India is not a reliable source. Please also read WP:REFB for help with formatting sources correctly. Theroadislong (talk) 15:44, 10 April 2025 (UTC)
- Apologies, it's been very frustrating to go back and forth on the same topic...glad it's not a robot, and we both are humans :-)
- The wiki editing tools are not at all user friendly, and trust me, i've started my career working on the www back in 1999, with raw html coding. Just a suggestion to make it easier for those who are creating these pages without a professional help. Jayashree68 (talk) 04:45, 11 April 2025 (UTC)
- Jayashree68 No knowledge of coding is required on Wikipedia, but you do need to read WP:NARTIST and WP:REFB which you clearly haven't yet. Theroadislong (talk) 07:10, 11 April 2025 (UTC)
- I did read both, that's why had mentioned the uniqueness for WP:NARTIST...Sanjna gets a lot of appreciation from the art community across the globe for her style.
- The reference part- this is all we have. Would be helpful to know how to improve the ones given, the whole convo has been just going back and forth, seriously with no help.
- Can someone else please look into this and try to be more constructive with the feedback? I'm honestly not sure how to proceed further.
- Have a lot of respect for wiki, but kind of losing it here. Jayashree68 (talk) 13:32, 11 April 2025 (UTC)
- WP:NARTIST doesn't mention uniqueness? What it says...
- Jayashree68 No knowledge of coding is required on Wikipedia, but you do need to read WP:NARTIST and WP:REFB which you clearly haven't yet. Theroadislong (talk) 07:10, 11 April 2025 (UTC)
The person is regarded as an important figure or is widely cited by peers or successors; or The person is known for originating a significant new concept, theory, or technique; or The person has created or played a major role in co-creating a significant or well-known work or collective body of work. In addition, such work must have been the primary subject of multiple independent periodical articles or reviews, or of an independent and notable work (for example, a book, film, or television series, but usually not a single episode of a television series); or The person's work (or works) has: (a) become a significant monument, (b) been a substantial part of a significant exhibition, (c) won significant critical attention, or (d) been represented within the permanent collections of several notable galleries or museums. Reading WP:REFB will tell you how to format sources correctly, but unless you have significant coverage in reliable independent sources your draft is going no where. - Ok, she has displayed her art in all prestigious well known galleries in India, they have a long process of review before the event. Not sure what else an young artist is supposed to hold events?
- Also, please don't use caustic and negative words like "this draft is going no where", this is a personal and insulting attack on me. Pls change your tone to more helpful or please transfer the review to someone else. Jayashree68 (talk) 14:14, 11 April 2025 (UTC)

- I have repeatedly said that i have read what you sent...and tried to give an explanation which obviously you don't want to listen at all. Can't indulge in someone who has taken a stance to decline instead of being neutral. No use, not planning to waste more time.
- I am also done here...hope to get some good useful advice from a professional person and resubmit the draft in the future.
- No thanks. Jayashree68 (talk) 14:38, 11 April 2025 (UTC)

- Not dismissed, just tired of some useless and non constructive "advice", thrown carelessly with no respect, that's all.
- Please treat your applications with more care, i can list out all the rude remarks you both have been giving from the start. If you are all doing a voluntary job, learn to be more mindful. Jayashree68 (talk) 15:30, 11 April 2025 (UTC)
- I don't give up that easily btw. Will report how unhelpful these so called "reviews" have been, even an AI would be more friemdly.

awarded government published registered US patent and other outside sources
[edit]Dear editor, Thank you for your time and comments. However I still have a few questions. To my understanding, I have provided the outside sources for my article, but it looks that it did not work. 1. Could you please, be so kind, to suggest what more than US Patent for an invention, could provide the outside evidence that the person is an inventor? What other sources could be there to proof it? 2. I have provided the outside evidence that the person is the Holocaust survivor. She was mentioned in two prominent newspapers in US and Israel, as such, and is in the list of the Holocaust foundation survivors. She was recently interviewed by this organization for their historical archive. Please help me to correct and edit the article. Any of your suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you Yuroly (talk) 21:21, 10 April 2025 (UTC)
- We are not looking for evidence that "the person is an inventor" being mentioned in a newspaper is not enough, we require significant coverage. Patents confer zero notability and DBpedia and Amazon are not reliable sources. Theroadislong (talk) 21:25, 10 April 2025 (UTC)
Request for draft review
[edit]Hello! I’ve submitted a draft titled Draft:Bangladeshi Football Ultras which is about a growing football supporters’ group in Bangladesh. The article has multiple reliable sources including national news media. I’d appreciate it if any editor could kindly review it when possible. Thank you! মির্জা ইউসুফ আলী (talk) 07:52, 12 April 2025 (UTC)
- It is in the queue and will be reviewed in due course I have zero knowledge of football related content so will leave it for another reviewer. I will say though that it would help if you could place the sources directly after the content that they support. Good luck. Theroadislong (talk) 10:09, 12 April 2025 (UTC)

Regarding my draft on composer Bruce Babcock
[edit]You haven't responded to my point: That this person meets three of your criteria for "notability": "Has won or been nominated for a major music award" -- he has won one Emmy and been nominated a total of seven times for his music for a very popular television show, MURDER SHE WROTE, along with three others. Also "Has won first, second, or third place in a major music competition," in the classical field; and "Has performed music for a work of media that is notable," specifically MURDER SHE WROTE, one of the most popular series of the last 40 years. This is important and you people seem to be ignoring these facts. Jdburlingame (talk) 01:33, 16 April 2025 (UTC)
- Your draft Draft:Bruce Babcock is VERY poorly sourced, where did all the info come from? Cite your sources per WP:BLP and it will be accepted. Theroadislong (talk) 06:44, 16 April 2025 (UTC)
Abdullah Khawaja Artical
[edit]Hi! I just wanted to clarify that Abdullah Khawaja has been featured on 7 of Pakistan’s top national news channels—including ARY, Dunya News, GTV, and PTV—watched by millions daily. He’s also been covered by leading Jordanian outlets like Roya News, Jordan TV, Mamlaka, and MBC, as well as internationally by The Independent (UK) and outlets in the U.S. These aren't just passing mentions but full-feature coverage, highlighting his prosthetic arm innovation and social impact.
I am more than happy to provide with all the links AhmadAli7861 (talk) 07:53, 17 April 2025 (UTC)

Bruce Babcock draft, revised
[edit]Substantially revised, many new sources added. Please review. Jdburlingame (talk) 19:01, 17 April 2025 (UTC)
- But interviews and press releases are still not independent sources. Theroadislong (talk) 21:59, 17 April 2025 (UTC)
Moved drafts to mainspace by mistake
[edit]Please advise and help if possible. I moved two articles I am working on from Draft to Main space. I realized the mistake so quickly moved both back to Draft. I don't want these articles deleted. Is there anything you can do or advise me to do so my articles are not deleted? Thank you. HarvResearch (talk) 23:42, 17 April 2025 (UTC)
- There is no reason why that would mean the drafts were deleted, though User;Hoary HAS given you sound advice as an admin of many years good standing. Theroadislong (talk) 07:17, 18 April 2025 (UTC)

Draft Notability & Source Summary for Review
[edit]Thank you for the feedback. I understand that user-submitted platforms (like Spotify, YouTube, SoundCloud) and personal websites do not count as reliable secondary sources.
However, this article also includes coverage from editorial, independent, third-party publications such as:
- Roadie Music (Brazil)
- MusicForAll (Brazil)
- Frecuencia Alternativa (LATAM)
- PopPunkers (Mexico)
- Bad Architect Records
- NightShift Blog
- HailTunes
- Music By Humans Magazine
- KeepWalkingMusic
- Planet Radio (France)
These sources are not affiliated with the subject and were selected specifically to meet notability criteria. All blog mentions are editorially controlled (not user-generated), and many are from regional music news outlets.
I’ve also removed non-compliant sources and focused on inline citations from these verified third-party platforms.
Happy to update or remove anything further, but I do believe the article now meets the guidelines for musicians. Thank you again for your time and help in improving this! Krshna4sri (talk) 12:40, 18 April 2025 (UTC)
- Thanks again for the clarification. I’ve removed the press release citation and made sure that all references now come from independent, editorially controlled sources.
- I've also ensured the citations are properly placed as inline references with a tag so they display correctly.
- Please let me know if any additional adjustments are needed — I'm happy to make further improvements. I really appreciate your time and guidance in this process. Krshna4sri (talk) 14:04, 18 April 2025 (UTC)

Draft Notability & Source Summary for Review
[edit]Cleaned up the reference list to align with Wikipedia’s sourcing guidelines. Removed non-independent sources (e.g., press releases, streaming platforms, social profiles). Retained only editorially reviewed and verifiable third-party sources, including: MusicForAll (BR) Roadie Music Frecuencia Alternativa Bad Architect Records KeepWalkingMusic MusicByHumans PopPunkers Nightshift Blog Formula Americana / Formula Rock HailTunes, Dulaxi Planet Radio Radio Armazem / Radio Alternativa X posts only from professional outlets (Revista Freim, RadioKC) Reference display also fixed using proper <ref> tags and at the end. Please feel free to advise if further cleanup is needed — happy to comply! Krshna4sri (talk) 14:18, 18 April 2025 (UTC)
On 30 September 2024, you Rejected this draft as Not Notable. It has been resubmitted since then. It does not look significantly different from the rejected draft. Do you, at this time, agree with yourself that you made a reasonable decision to Reject it? (I agree that rejection was reasonable, but I want to know whether you still think that your decision was correct.) If so, I will reject it again. Robert McClenon (talk) 14:37, 18 April 2025 (UTC)
- It's referencing has improved somewhat, so I would probably decline this time rather than reject. I trust your judgement. Theroadislong (talk) 14:56, 18 April 2025 (UTC)
- There is sockpuppetry involved. I will decline, but wait for action on the SPI. Robert McClenon (talk) 16:02, 18 April 2025 (UTC)

who says genre defying
[edit]Thanks for the clarification. I’ve now removed the phrase “genre-defying” from the lead to maintain a neutral tone. My intention was simply to describe the blend of classical and electronic styles in an objective way. I appreciate your guidance in helping refine the article's language to better align with Wikipedia’s tone and policies. Krshna4sri (talk) 15:04, 18 April 2025 (UTC)
