Systems thinking
[edit]Thanks for your message. I reverted your edit because it seemed to me to be about defining the meaning of "system", which would be more appropriate for a dictionary. I also wasn't sure that "system" should be defined, in multiple ways, on an article about systems thinking. Are the definitions you listed at odds with each other, or are they defining different aspects of systems in relation to "systems thinking'? If in agreement, then does the article need multiple quotes?
I have no knowledge of the subject beyond what's on the article, so your evaluation would be far better than mine. But I think it's just a matter of a change of approach. Rather than different "definitions" could it be presented as different types? Could it be different approaches to the subject by different experts? Or collated together as all good ways of describing the same thing? (Just be careful not to stray into original synthesis by constructing a comparison between them not found in any single source.)
Lastly, Wikipedia cannot be used as a source for itself. So don't use other Wikipedia articles as cites. They can, of course, link to each other. Thanks. Escape Orbit (Talk) 09:54, 28 October 2024 (UTC)
