Information icon Hi Supanakbebek! I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor that may not have been. "Minor edit" has a very specific definition on Wikipedia—it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Please see Help:Minor edit for more information. Thank you. Hi GMH Melbourne, thanks for this response. Melbourne comedy scene is pretty small, in the scheme of things, so i do know Danny, and he is the writer of the banners for favourite afl club. Go Dogs. But he is an accomplished actor, comic, and works in the public domain and I thought that his career warranted a wiki entry. I can see how it looks like promotion of a person. McGinlay is often quoted in news paper articles and television shows (primarily about football) I receive no money or favour for trying to do this, or any commission, incentive or reward. I've really tried to do this over the last few years, and it's really hard to learn how to do it, so apologies for the scatter gun attempts. Is there a way for me to declare the above, given there is no compensation? What is the next step in getting an article online? Supanakbebek (talk) 05:58, 18 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
