@Daniel Case: @MikeAllen: I know this effort on my talk page to reason with the user hasn't been particularly fruitful, especially because this user has continued to make disruptive edits, but I would like to bring to your attention the following statement made by him, "And I do not ever want to be mad at you or rude to you, but that's what I do for a living." This assertion has intrigued and baffled me: does he mean to say that adding such information is basically all he does in the course of his waking day, or is this a confession to undisclosed paid editing? I can't figure that one out either. Maybe it's somebody flailing around trying to say something whose true meaning they don't really appreciate, that will end a conversation they're uncomfortable with.
