If you say you wont revert again without consensus I will withdraw my report. Are you amenable to that? (and I only had 1 revert, I dont know how you can say I was past 3) nableezy - 22:54, 9 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
About the "good will", no problem. I almost failed to WP:AGF, and for that I am sorry. So you speak some Arabic? Good for you! Considering where we live, it's probably a good idea. (Question: what language is "yous"? ;) Welcome to English Wikipedia Ori. Happy editing. Tiamuttalk20:03, 10 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
My arabic is not "local". It comes from Turkish... Yous is New York English for "All of you" :-). Where you from? Ori (talk) 00:53, 11 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry for the late reply. I didn't know Turkish was so closely related to Arabic that you could learn the latter through the former. Interesting ... I'm from Nazareth. Tiamuttalk10:53, 18 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Cool. Our article on it is not so great. Wish I could translate it, but I never really learned Hebrew. I studied in North America most of my life. English was a necessity of course. The other roman language followed naturally. My written Arabic is shit (though my reading comprehension is okay, not the best). I'm planning on making it better one day. Learning Aramaic would be a good way to do that and learn some more Hebrew. Tiamuttalk16:02, 25 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Hello Ori: I just have a simple question about the naming convention you've been using with the makhteshim articles. Must the "M" and "G" after the "Ha" be capitalized? When I use the names in my professional articles I just write them like "Hamakhtesh Hagadol". You, however, are the Israeli! I will, by the way, return to Hamakhtesh Hagadol in ten days for a couple of weeks of geological work. I am very much looking forward to it. We pretty much share in the cuisine of other Galilee and northern towns (and those in Lebanon). As you may know, Northern Palestinian cuisine can be distinguished from Gazan cuisine and that of the Hebron-Jerusalem area. This source has some information on the many similarities and a couple of differences between Christian and Muslim diets that you might find interesting/useful to the article. Happy editing. My son Andrew has basic knowledge in the hebrew language. We read together
the hebrew translation from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shoes_on_the_Danube_Promenade
and found about January 8, 1945 not the correct facts. We can only read, but not correct in the hebrew version.
Dr. Erwin K. Koranyi psychiatrist in Ottawa write about the night of January 8, 1945 in his "Chronicle of a Life" in 2006 "in our group, I saw Lajos Stoeckler" and "The police holding their guns at the Arowwcross cutthroats. One of the high-ranking police officers was Pal Szalai, with whom Raoul Wallenberg used to deal. Another police officer in his leather coat was Karoly Szabo."[1] Pal Szalai honored as Righteous among the Nations 04.7.2009 [2][3][4].
Also on January 8, 1945 was not Wallenberg on the Danube banks but my father Karoly Szabo employee on the Swedish Embassy in Budapest and his friend Pal Szalai.
I have today als contact to the rescued Löw, Klaber, Steiner, Forgacs.

My name is Victor and I'm a storyteller and video producer for the Wikimedia Foundation. I'll be looking to capture stories about Wikimedians at Wikimania in London in a week. Here is an example of the kind of thing that I'm aiming to do. I saw that you're attending Wikimania and I was wondering if you might have some time to talk about your work on Wikimedia projects. Anyway let me know if you are interested, I'll be at Wikimania from the 6th-10th of August and would need maybe 30 minutes of your time. I can answer any questions you may have. I’m best reached at vgrigas(at)wikimedia.org
