Information icon Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did at Patrick Froehlich, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. If you only meant to make a test edit, please use your sandbox for that. Thank you. localBluepikmin (whistle the pikmin) 16:04, 3 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]

My content removal is constructive. It's an effort to make information about the writer Patrick Froehlich more clear to potential editors and readers. Mercè Rodoreda (talk) 19:25, 3 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon This is your only warning; if you vandalize Wikipedia again, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. If you continue to remove information, you will be blocked from editing. Thank you. Alexnewmon2623 (talk) 17:46, 3 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]

I did not vandalize wikipedia.
I was removing information that is not relevant. Mercè Rodoreda (talk) 19:19, 3 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing certain pages (Patrick Froehlich) for edit warring.
During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please review Wikipedia's guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text to the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Izno (talk) 18:16, 3 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]
This is an arbitrary decision. Mercè Rodoreda (talk) 19:20, 3 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]
In the era of discrimination due to ageism, erasing the date of birth of a living author is a constructive contribution.
Besides, the contributions of Patrick Froehlich as a physician are casting a shadow on the important literary information that his wikipedia page should have both for readers and writers. Mercè Rodoreda (talk) 09:30, 4 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]
I might be a wiki rookie, but your decision is authoritarian one disrespecting literary knowledge.
Best regards. Mercè Rodoreda (talk) 09:35, 4 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]
You may appeal the block by following the instructions in the block message. Otherwise, there are about 7 million other articles to edit, and many more non-articles, including the talk page of the page from which you were blocked. Izno (talk) 21:23, 4 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]
