About the Sera sky burial site.
[edit]The vultures being semi tame was my own observation from February 1985. Cadaver was first cut and bones crushed with mallets (depressions in the rock...). The person doing the cutting then held the liver high in the air and called to birds in. As I have not published this anywhere (have pictures also) I can not make a citation... I have seen sky burials also at Larung Gar and Yarchen Gar, but they were not nearly as elaborate and the birds well behaved.
