Highlighting
[edit]Hi Krishnpriya123. I see you are new around here, so just want to ask that you first familiarise yourself with the project so you don't do things that go against the style guide, such as this type of highlight. Enjoy your stay. Rui ''Gabriel'' Correia (talk) 12:26, 15 December 2024 (UTC)
- okay, I will take care to not go against style already being used in article. Krishnpriya123 (talk) 16:41, 4 January 2025 (UTC)
Citation style and punctuation
[edit]Two more things: When adding a source, please use the parameters approved/ recommended in the style guide. The simplest is to use the common ones, as you can see here/. If you want to add a description of a source as you are doing with the GHI, link to the wiki page about the source in the citation by using the |publisher= parameter, i.e., <ref>{{Cite web |parameter=|parameter=|parameter=etc|publisher=[[Global Hunger Index]]|parameter=}}</ref>. The example is a dead link because I added nowiki at both ends. Secondly, remember to close your sentences with a full stop, even when these end on a number, such as 14.7. Thanks for joining and have fun. Rui ''Gabriel'' Correia (talk) 13:08, 15 December 2024 (UTC)
- Thank you for your suggestion. Krishnpriya123 (talk) 16:39, 8 March 2025 (UTC)
Hunger
[edit]Pls se Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Countries#Global Hunger Index and WP:COUNTRYSECTIONS Moxy🍁 16:36, 1 January 2025 (UTC)
- Hello? You here? Moxy🍁 17:07, 2 January 2025 (UTC)
- Hey Moxy, sorry I am new user here. I was trying to add Global Hunger Index assuming its important figure but like you said in discussion, its probably better to add more generic statement rather than absolute figure. And reference it to latest GHI index. Krishnpriya123 (talk) 16:37, 4 January 2025 (UTC)
Please stop removing serial commas from articles. They are not "grammatical errors", and may either be included or omitted depending on the article; see MOS:SERIAL. This is particularly disruptive behavior if continued. Remsense ‥ 论 16:11, 6 February 2025 (UTC)
- Thanks for your advice. I will take care next time about serial commas. Krishnpriya123 (talk) 16:47, 8 February 2025 (UTC)

[edit] Please stop. If you continue to use disruptive, inappropriate or hard-to-read formatting, as you did at Vedas, you may be blocked from editing. There is a Wikipedia Manual of Style, and edits should not deliberately go against it without special reason. Remsense ‥ 论 20:35, 7 February 2025 (UTC)
- Thank you for your suggestion. I will be careful next time. Krishnpriya123 (talk) 16:36, 8 March 2025 (UTC)
Highlighting
[edit]- Please stop highlighting text in our articles. It is distracting to the reader, and we do not want to add too much emphasis to any particular point, which is why we do not use bold or BLOCK CAPITALS either. I see you were warned about this above, but have continued to add it. Please stop. Thank you - Arjayay (talk) 16:23, 20 February 2025 (UTC)
- Next time, I will take care of it. Thanks Krishnpriya123 (talk) 16:32, 8 March 2025 (UTC)

April 2025
[edit] Hello, I'm Ravensfire. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Saranya Ponvannan, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Please don't add date of birth information to articles, including the short description, unless there is a good reliable source that supports the date you've added. Ravensfire (talk) 16:56, 7 April 2025 (UTC)
- @Ravensfire Thank you for the reminder. I'll make sure to only include date of birth information when it's backed by a reliable and verifiable source. Accuracy and proper sourcing are definitely important. Krishnpriya123 (talk) 17:15, 7 April 2025 (UTC)
Please do not add or change content, as you did at Kalash people, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and to see how to add references to an article. Thank you. Ekdalian (talk) 16:02, 14 April 2025 (UTC)
- Thank you for pointing this out. I understand the importance of maintaining accuracy and credibility on Wikipedia by using reliable sources. I will review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and ensure that any future contributions are appropriately cited. I appreciate your feedback. Krishnpriya123 (talk) 16:07, 14 April 2025 (UTC)
Hello, I'm ZergTwo. I noticed that you have been adding short descriptions to articles. However, the short descriptions you added are too long to be effective, such as at Butane. The guideline is that short descriptions should ideally be under 40 characters long, and no longer than needed. For more information, see the short description guidelines. If you have any questions, please let me know. Do not add the chemical formula to the article's short description, even if it's useful. It lengthens the short description. I advise you to read the links mentioned earlier. ZergTwo (talk) 18:05, 15 April 2025 (UTC)
- @ZergTwo Thank you for the feedback, ZergTwo. I appreciate the clarification regarding the short description guidelines. I’ll make sure to keep them concise and within the recommended character limit moving forward. Krishnpriya123 (talk) 00:30, 16 April 2025 (UTC)
