Rejection of NMCD draft

Thank you for the review and opportunity to improve. The museum is doing good work in this field, and just as notable as some of its partner museums that have pages and far less citations. I added a few more external references, but I didn't want it to seem like promotion. Lizbeth626 (talk) 10:34, 30 November 2024 (UTC)

Potkin Azarmehr Submission

Hi Jamiebuba

Why have you declined this submission? There are plenty of references and secondary references included more than many other current wikipedia pages? SledgeHammer2017 (talk) 17:37, 3 December 2024 (UTC)

@SledgeHammer2017 Because the sources constitute only passing mentions. If you have carefully read all the decline notices by now you would understand why it keeps getting declined. Jamiebuba (talk) 18:51, 3 December 2024 (UTC)
How is it a passing mention. One of them [See reference 11] is a full interview about his arrest.
Reference 2 is also video of him on BBC Newsnight SledgeHammer2017 (talk) 18:56, 3 December 2024 (UTC)
and would you call this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2XHY7oISIH4&t=7s a "passing mention"? its a 38 min interview!!! SledgeHammer2017 (talk) 19:01, 3 December 2024 (UTC)

Declined article

[edit] link to article draft: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:The_Jins_(band)

Hello @Jamiebuba,

I see that you declined my article under notability and its sources. I am fairly new to Wikipedia as an editor and so I am wondering if any of my sources did qualify.

And for the ones that don't qualify, why?

The criterion listed are:

I thought that my sources met all of those. I believed that they certainly were in-depth, secondary, and independent. So, what makes them not reliable?

Anyway, thanks for taking the time to review my article although it was eventually declined. It was reviewed swiftly and that's all you can really ask for. A Real Living Person (talk) 15:40, 12 December 2024 (UTC)

Might I understand why my article was declined, which part of the statement wasn't supported by reliable sources. to the best pfky knowledge I cited clearly Nnamdiyah (talk) 16:06, 16 December 2024 (UTC)

Justin Ryan Twohig article

Hello,

Draft:Justin Twohig

Is there anything more specific that Wiki would require? There are 9 sources from CNN, NBC, PIX, Business Insider, etc. (major news outlets)

Would an interview specifically with "Justin Ryan Twohig" be required? This is a bare bones article about a new restauranteur that is focusing on East Village history. We can submit an interview article if needed. I feel that this might be one of those "it will never be enough" situations. I just want to make sure we are in compliance and get the article published as fairly as possible without the promotion of the individual

BIAL Foundation: foundation based in Portugal

Hello! Could you help me create an article about this foundation based in Portugal https://www.fundacaobial.com/com/

You have declined my draft on December 20th based on "This draft's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article" but I believe my source references are reliable, for example this other Portugal based Foundation https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Champalimaud_Foundation only has four references all from their own website. I'm referencing news articles from independent and reliable websites.

How can I improve my draft so it can be approved? Thank you. 2A01:14:8010:20C0:5D7E:8C91:BA8A:1CE2 (talk) 08:40, 26 December 2024 (UTC)

I have been doing some work on this article focused on finding more reliable references: U.S. Naval War College and Foreign Military Studies Office. Please do re-review the article at your convenience - don't rush back from your holiday activities, please!! Buckshot06 (talk) 23:50, 26 December 2024 (UTC)
