Given multiple other editors have reverted you, I would recommend that you take this to the article's talk page before making the change again. Also, you may want to read WP:BURDEN in which the policy clearly states "The burden to demonstrate verifiability lies with the editor who adds or restores material." You are the one who made the change despite being reverted by multiple others, so it is your responsibility to properly source your edits. Belt and Road Initiative

Hello.

In the Belt and Road Initiative article, Panama should only be included in the "Past members" section, and removed from the "Current members" section, when it actually ceases to be a member. It has not terminated its memership yet. When its membership ceases and becomes official news, then it should be changed.

The only thing I noticed was that you switched the established date from 1805 to 1810 without any source/explanation for the switch. I changed it to 1810 based on the Royal College of Surgeons website (https://www.rcseng.ac.uk/standards-and-research/research/fellowships-awards-grants/awards-and-grants/lectureships/). Hi Twilliamncl, thanks for sharing that source! I don't have any source stating the old date; I just wasn't quite clear why it was being changed. I went ahead and added the source you linked next to the year, just so that it's clear to others where that date is coming from. I just glanced at the article again, and everything looks great, although I made one small change. Per the Wikipedia manual of style, text typically shouldn't bolded just for emphasis (see MOS:NOTBOLD). I went ahead and removed all the bolding, other than for the article title. I'd intended to just fix the broken signature image, but accidentally rolled back to a previous version of the page when I was looking for the revision that broke the file. GoldRomean I had a look at Katniss and Peeta's articles this afternoon and copyedited them down a decent amount. You were right that there was a ton of fancruft and unnecessary fluff from the plot ("He looks strapping in a suit" in Peeta's character description gave me a good laugh lol). If I get a chance sometime, I'll have a look at some of the other articles, but I think Katniss and Peeta's articles look a lot better than they did! You added that Larry was a part of the Ministry of State Security "as a mole," and also added a caption while removing the image you were captioning. Regarding the first part, if you have a source for this, you can feel free to add it back. Also, for the future, if you're removing images or other content, it is best to use an edit summary to explain why you are removing the information, otherwise it can be confusing to other users about why the information was removed. Firstly, the Ministry of State Security had replaced the Central Investigation Department in 1983, 2 years before Larry's arrest, which replaces the Central Social Affairs Department mentioned in the wikibox. This information is publicly known, and also written in the Chinese language of Wikipedia. Understood. Saying something is "publicly known" is not enough for Wikipedia, considering anyone could say that about anything. You may want to read WP:VERIFIABILITY, which discusses Wikipedia's general guideline of including a source backing up any new information that you add. You are welcome to re-add that part of your edit with a source, and/or re-remove the image if you have a valid reason for doing so. Hi there! I'd only gotten involved with that article as I am a pending changes reviewer, and was merely accepting an edit that appeared to be valid. I don't have any knowledge on the topic of that article, and from glancing at the edit history, it appears there is some disagreement over the reliability of said sources. If you feel the sources are reliable, it's best to contact that editor directly and discuss with them, or report it if you feel there is a legitimate problem. I don't wish to be a third party mediator in this situation, so I won't get involved any further and have unaccepted the one edit in light of the sources being called into question. Hi Minorax! The PNG version of the image appeared as a broken red-link when I reverted your edit this morning. I checked again and it does appear to be working now. I'm not sure if there was some delay with the server recognizing your new version of the image, but I've self-reverted since I also don't see any issues with it now. Vijay Mallya

I changed the name of the image from "Vijaymallya" to Vijay Mallya because Vijay Mallya is the way the image should have been named, it was like, for example, your name being written as "Katnisseverdeen" instead of Katniss Everdeen. When I renamed the image to Vijay Mallya, it vanished, I don't know how. Please rename the image from "Vijaymallya" to "Vijay Mallya". VGanesh878 (talk) 13:13, 26 July 2025 (UTC)

Hi VGanesh878, any attempt to alter an image name without renaming it will break the file, which is why the file disappeared when you made your edit earlier. Only administrators have the ability to rename images, so I cannot do it. Renaming an image requires you make a special request, which you can find the instructions for Template:Rename media. It’s probably worth noting though that I think it’s unlikely the request will be approved, since having a space between the names in a filename is more of a personal preference rather than a glaring typo. Hi Flyboy58, happy to explain my edit summary in more detail. I reverted your edit for a couple reasons, but the main one was that you didn't go about moving the article in the proper way. Since your account isn't autoconfirmed yet (10 edits is the threshold for being autoconfirmed), generally the way you would go about a move is posting a message on the talk page, and providing a source stating the correct translation of the title. Please keep in mind that anybody can assert anything is true on Wikipedia, which is why we require reliable sources backing up information, rather than relying on personal assertions that something is correct. Simply changing the movie title in the article without requesting the page be moved is confusing for editors, and also broke the movie poster image. Just so you're aware for the future, regardless of if an image is named correctly or not, altering the image name breaks the file, as you can see if you take a look at your revision here.

If you have reliable sources stating the correct title, I don't have any other issues for moving the page if you want to post that information on the article talk page.
