Request reason:
Your reason here:i had the wrong ip address. My friend went on my device at school when i was doing something else and changed the wiki page as I was one of the only people who had a semi-protecion pass and he changed the NZ flag page. I will promise to shut it down next time, and this wont happen again
Decline reason:
This story isn't consistent with your editing- the disruptive edit to Flag of New Zealand came from this account, not an IP address- unless you are saying your friend took control of your account. Also, as noted below, that one edit isn't the only issue with your editing. 331dot (talk) 09:43, 1 December 2024 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Unblock request

Request reason:
something like this happened User:an administrator, blocks User: someone for a long time . Unknown to admin, someone uses an ISP that uses dynamic IP addresses (such as at home, at university, at a library, at a company, etc.), and an autoblock was enabled at the time of the block. User:me, who also uses the same ISP, and is currently assigned the IP address last used by someone, signs on to Wikipedia. me receives a "You have been blocked" message, doesn't understand what an autoblock is, and angrily demands to know why admin has blocked him.
I was using wikipedia at school so Im really confused. I did make some edits that were wrong becasue I was trying to test how it works and accidently deleted everything instead as seen on My NZ flag post. I admit thought that some of the other post were unconstructive and it wont happen again.
Accept reason:
Okay, you're free to go. If you have questions about editing, you can ask them at WP:TEA. -- asilvering (talk) 17:42, 12 March 2025 (UTC)

- Alright. Honestly, I don't really care about the IP business or whatever other weird explanation there is for your edits. What I care about is that you don't make any more disruptive edits once you're unblocked. If you need to test something, create a page at User:Harry-Shaun/sandbox and test it there. If you make a mistake while editing, don't publish it, just close the editor and abandon the changes. Don't delete things from articles for no apparent reason. Use edit summaries. Don't try to put nonsense about skibidi toilet into articles. I think that's everything. Do you think you will be able to follow all that? -- asilvering (talk) 02:39, 8 March 2025 (UTC)
- yes Harry-Shaun (talk) 07:25, 12 March 2025 (UTC)
- Ok,ill test things in the sandbox and I won't make any disruptive edits again. Harry-Shaun (talk) 07:30, 12 March 2025 (UTC)
- Pinging blocking admin @PhilKnight - anything I missed? If not I think we can unblock, with the understanding that if disruptive edits resume, they will be reblocked, and an "I promise not to make disruptive edits" won't work a second time. -- asilvering (talk) 16:31, 12 March 2025 (UTC)
- No objections to an unblock. PhilKnight (talk) 17:26, 12 March 2025 (UTC)
