ArbCom 2024 Elections voter message
Hello! Voting in the 2024 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 2 December 2024. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.
The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
If you wish to participate in the 2024 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}}
to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:42, 19 November 2024 (UTC)
Wrapping caption
Hey! Is the faulty caption on Muhammad doing something I didn't realize, or is the intended effect simply necessary? Thanks in advance. Remsense ‥ 论 23:15, 23 November 2024 (UTC)
- "Faulty" was the wrong word to use, but it did cause unnecessary widening of the infobox. If the goal was to prevent the caption from running to a third line containing only the word "Medina", I removed the word "in" and replaced it with a comma, which achieves this. — Goszei (talk) 23:19, 23 November 2024 (UTC)
- Thank you for clarifying! Remsense ‥ 论 02:00, 24 November 2024 (UTC)

The article Tamizhaga Dravida Makkal Katchi has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Unreferenced and unimproved 15 years. Run of the mill small regional party. Tagged as possibly not notable for over 4 years.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Bearian (talk) 22:28, 24 November 2024 (UTC)

Sunset Fire
Why did you delete picture of the Sunset Fire? I will upload it again and I ask you to please not take off this contobution again.
it alighns with all wikipidia policies and it was taken from my work and it is very relevant so please dont take it off again, thank you. YisroelB501 (talk) 04:57, 9 January 2025 (UTC)
- That was by mistake, perhaps as the result of an edit conflict. I have edited it back in. — Goszei (talk) 04:59, 9 January 2025 (UTC)
Operation Barbarossa
While it seems clear to me that you have good intentions, your recent edits to the article summary (lead) of Operation Barbarossa were reverted. Just so you know, that article is in GA status and has been thoroughly worked (content and citations, as well as summary) by a host of experienced and academically credentialed editors. In the future, I would advise you to discuss your planned content edits to a lead and justify them accordingly for all articles already in GA status. This generally means getting some consensus from the main contributors on the Talk Page first. Obenritter (talk) 19:49, 15 January 2025 (UTC)
- At a minimum, it is a major oversight that the current lead contains basically no detail on military movements like dates and cities, which are obviously highly relevant to the operation and should be included in any summary of it. I think you will agree that the current lead is not perfect, and will perhaps agree that there were at least some improvements in my edits. I will take it to talk soon. — Goszei (talk) 20:25, 15 January 2025 (UTC)
ibox clutter tag unnecessarily widens ibox (!!)
Oh, the irony! Do you think I could manage an equivalent phrase with a smaller footprint for that template? Nothing immediately comes to mind. Remsense ‥ 论 03:34, 24 January 2025 (UTC)
- Either "ibox clutter" or just "clutter", I presume. — Goszei (talk) 03:37, 24 January 2025 (UTC)
- Hmm. I was worried previously that merely "clutter" was too vague, but I suppose it's evocative enough for editors, and perhaps the general readership too. Remsense ‥ 论 03:42, 24 January 2025 (UTC)
