Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia and thank you for your contribution(s). However, as a general rule, while user talk pages permit a small degree of generalisation, other talk pages such as Talk:Misandry are strictly for discussing improvements to their associated main pages, and many of them have special instructions on the top. They are not a general discussion forum about the article's topic or any other topic. If you have questions or ideas and are not sure where to post them, consider asking at the Teahouse.

Please take your gripes about the sorry state of academic research elsewhere, thank you.Sangdeboeuf (talk) 23:55, 17 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Nota bene* Please also note Wikipedia's talk page guidelines: Article talk pages should be used to discuss ways to improve an article; not to criticize, pick apart, or vent about the current status of an article or its subject. Complaining about the quality of the article without offering constructive suggestions for improvement is not allowed. Thank you. —Sangdeboeuf (talk) 19:18, 19 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

A barnstar for you!

The Barnstar of Diligence
Thank you for your due diligence in attempting to improve Masculism related content, especially the Misandry topic. The anti-masculinity and prejudices currently conveyed in the lead of these pages are being upheld by feminist sources that have established a WP:FALSEBALANCE narrative. The broader men's movement is Egalitarian.

Advocating for men's issues does not make one misogynist, and this fact needs more prominence on men's pages. You may need to elevate some discussions via WP:DR. Any admins/editors engaging in WP:SQS may need broader community oversight.

Please remember to keep it WP:CIVIL and instead of arguing with WP:STONEWALLers, just elevate the discussion with WP:3O or WP:RFC. And if you happen to be wrong on one point, just WP:LETITGO and pivot to a topic/point for which you have a better WP:RS.
