How did this happen? Can't see it on your edit history. Beshogur (talk) 13:23, 28 December 2024 (UTC)
- Try this search instead – it's just above dwarf lizard. And it looks like ref has since been improved. Cremastra 🎄 u — c 🎄 15:41, 28 December 2024 (UTC)

Leech article
Hello. Do you plan on getting that leech article to FA? We could use more of them. LittleJerry (talk) 00:50, 3 January 2025 (UTC)
- Ha ha, maybe one day. I'll focus on GA for now, since it'll be my first if it passes. My "secret" goal was actually to make Macrobdella a good topic, but that might actually be more work than an FA. Thanks for the encouragement, though. Cremastra (u — c) 00:52, 3 January 2025 (UTC)
Wikipedia:WikiProject AI Cleanup/AI images in non-AI contexts
Thanks for helping to bring this up to date! The page is trying to keep track of for what reasons, if any, that they were kept in or removed from articles
, I assume to give some grist to any future policy discussions on the subject, so it'd be good to have a few words recorded on why each image was considered unsuitable. Belbury (talk) 19:09, 3 January 2025 (UTC)
- Thanks, I've added explanations based on the edit summaries. Cremastra (u — c) 19:27, 3 January 2025 (UTC)

Your recent edit on Overdale, Telford
Hi, I noticed you deleted this article without first discussing it with the relevant geography page. Please do not delete page based on your opinion. It needs to be discussed first with other editors. Thanks DragonofBatley (talk) 22:26, 6 January 2025 (UTC)
- I have responded on your talk page after my WP:BOLD action, as per WP:BRD. I also see that you wrote this article today, well after concerns of text/source integrity and factual accuracy were raised on your talk page. I'm confused as to how this keeps happening. These do not seem to be plausible mistakes to make. Cremastra (u — c) 23:18, 6 January 2025 (UTC)

Hi, thank you for your contributions. I note your recent undo of the dabpage at Left brain.
I had originally done this as a straight hatnote[1], but was reverted.
Keeping the primary redirect and creating Left brain (disambiguation) doesn't work, as it becomes a case of WP:ONEOTHER.
Left brain/Left Brain are definitely ambiguous and this needs to be addressed somehow. How do you propose we do so? 162 etc. (talk) 16:55, 8 January 2025 (UTC)
- You're right about WP:ONEOTHER, I'd forgotten about that.
- The hatnote seems like the right approach given that there is scope for confusion here. @Opolito: you removed the hatnote, can you clarify why you think it's a problem? Thanks, Cremastra (u — c) 21:05, 8 January 2025 (UTC)
- The musician Left Brain isn't notable - the previous page about them was deleted because of that. The discography page clearly isn't notable either and will be deleted shortly. Opolito (talk) 21:54, 8 January 2025 (UTC)

Clean-up
Hi - very much appreciate the offer to work on this. I've done a table here, User:KJP1/sandbox10-DoB. It's basically the CCI approach:
- Review the article
- Take any remedial action - redraft/re-source/delete content/merge/AfD etc.
- Note the decision in the final column - just over-write any existing wikicode.
- Record any wider issues, questions/learning points for DoB at the top.
Rupples and I have tried a few for size, and it seems to work, but completely open to any suggestions for improvement. The more difficult issue is how to effectively involve DoB. That's of course essential, but may prove harder to achieve. Again, any suggestions welcome. KJP1 (talk) 16:53, 18 January 2025 (UTC)
- Looks good, I've gotten started. Cremastra (u — c) 18:05, 18 January 2025 (UTC)

DYK for Castilleja chromosa
On 19 January 2025, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Castilleja chromosa, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that the flowers of the desert paintbrush (example pictured) are small, green, and unremarkable? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Castilleja chromosa. You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, Castilleja chromosa), and the hook may be added to the statistics page after its run on the Main Page has completed. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

- Credit for this should go to or at the very least be shared with MtBotany, who has written most of the article. Cremastra (u — c) 15:32, 19 January 2025 (UTC)
- Thanks. Though I'm not that concerned with credit for DYK. I just love seeing plants get onto Wikipedia's front page. Also: group effort. I probably would have put this species off for another year while being distracted by other species. Seeing others work on it inspired me to pitch in. 🌿MtBotany (talk) 22:00, 19 January 2025 (UTC)
