[edit]

hey, so what it is a mentor? --BaksoPaper (talk) 11:40, 18 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]

@BaksoPaper I am a somewhat knowledgeable Wikipedia editor who is here to help you with any questions about editing you may have. There is no requirement for you to ask me anything, if you do not want to.
For example, a helpful tip may be that you can use the "[Reply]" button to reply to your above post, instead of needing to use the "question" function each time :) – Isochrone (talk) 11:47, 18 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Question from Kapparently (18:40, 28 February 2025)

[edit]

Hi Isochrone! Appreciate your help. I submitted a new page for review and just want to make sure that I did everything correctly. It's for a journalism award that is already mentioned on a few other existing pages but did not have a page of its own. I linked those in the article. Is there a way to get this published and moved out of draft status? Thanks so much!! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:Collier_Prize_for_State_Government_Accountability --Kapparently (talk) 18:40, 28 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Question from Tel001 (15:23, 10 March 2025)

[edit]

Hello, Isochrone. Just trying out the "Ask your mentor" feature. I recently posted an editing question on the following talk page: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:Joan_Bodger

Basically, I want to add a reference for a CD to the "Bibliography" section of an author's article, but I am unsure whether or not only print material should be listed under a Bibliography heading.

Should I start a new heading like "Audio Recordings"?

Thank you --Tel001 (talk) 15:23, 10 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hi @Tel001 and welcome to Wikipedia. MOS:DISCOGRAPHY is the relevant guideline: in brief, the section should be titled "Discography" or something along those lines. – Isochrone (talk) 20:27, 10 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you, that makes sense. Tel001 (talk) 21:03, 10 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
