How do I create a biography? --Wadada RSA (talk) 23:13, 27 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]

@Wadada RSA: The first step is to check out this page to make sure the subject of the article you plan to create is notable per Wikipedia's standards. If so, you can visit this page for instructions on creating a new article. AviationFreak💬 02:01, 28 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Question from Dollywink (16:25, 28 March 2025)

[edit]

Hi there, nice to meet you! I've created an account because I want to help Wikipedia stay as accurate and up to date as possible. How do new editors get started? --Dollywink (talk) 16:25, 28 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]

@Dollywink: Welcome! This page has loads of information and links to various important guidelines and policies; it is summarized a bit here. If you're interested in just jumping right in, that's great too (and is my personal preference)! Really the best way to do that is to find articles on a topic you have an interest or expertise in, reading through them with an eye towards referencing, grammar/spelling, and any information that is either (a) missing or (b) extraneous. Hopefully this is helpful, and if you have any questions, don't hesitate to let me know! Happy editing! AviationFreak💬 20:20, 28 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Question from Corleson (14:10, 6 April 2025)

[edit]

Hello! How do I translate seperate sections after translating a page? --Corleson (talk) 14:10, 6 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]

@Corleson: Hi! I've not used the translation feature much, but I noticed most of your edits are being made using a mobile device. In general, mobile devices can be harder to edit Wikipedia with: the site wasn't designed with them in mind. I suspect that using a computer might make things easier; if that doesn't help though (or if you prefer to use a mobile device), check out this page and its talk page for info on how to translate articles. That talk page would be a good place to ask if you're unable to find a clear answer to your question elsewhere. AviationFreak💬 17:21, 6 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Question from Dennisaxim (10:54, 7 April 2025)

[edit]

Hi, could you please share some methods to find articles? --Dennisaxim (talk) 10:54, 7 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]

@Dennisaxim If you mean Wikipedia articles, the website's search function is great. If you mean articles for sourcing Wikipedia articles, the "News" tab of Google often will have relevant results, but it depends on the type of topic you're interested in. AviationFreak💬 12:51, 7 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Got it thanks.. Dennisaxim (talk) 06:32, 8 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Question from A.H.M Badruddoza Khan (20:07, 7 April 2025)

[edit]

How can I create wikipedia page on a prominent politician of my country --A.H.M Badruddoza Khan (talk) 20:07, 7 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]

@A.H.M Badruddoza Khan: Assuming the politician does not yet have a Wikipedia article, the first step is to check their notability using this guideline. If they pass that guideline, this page has information on writing an article. Let me know if you have any questions along the way! AviationFreak💬 20:17, 7 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]
@AviationFreakThank you sir, for your prompt and helpful reply. A.H.M Badruddoza Khan (talk) 21:02, 7 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]
