Welcome!
[edit]Hi Averytiredturkey3! I noticed your contributions and wanted to welcome you to the Wikipedia community. I hope you like it here and decide to stay.
The rule that affects you most as a new or IP editor is the prohibition on making any edit related to the Arab–Israel conflict, which includes discussing articles on talk pages, unless you are logged into an account that is at least 30 days old and has made at least 500 edits.
This prohibition is broadly construed, so it includes edits such as adding the reaction of a public figure concerning the conflict to their article or noting the position of a company or organization as it relates to the conflict.
The exception to this rule is that you may request a specific change to an article on the talk page of that article or at this page. Please ensure that your requested edit complies with our neutral point of view and reliable sourcing policies, and if the edit is about a living person our policies on biographies of living people as well.
Any edits you make contrary to these rules are likely to be reverted, and repeated violations can lead to you being blocked from editing. As you get started, you may find this short tutorial helpful:

- Hi Swatjester,
- I noticed my edit was reverted, and I'm genuinely confused about why it was undone. I made the edit in good faith while reviewing recent changes to address misinformation and vandalism. Interestingly, edits made by unconfirmed users remained intact, while mine were removed. Their contributions were not erased, but mine were—a decision that I don’t fully understand.
- Please forgive me if I’m mistaken, but based on the actions taken, the approach doesn’t seem very consistent. I’d appreciate any clarification on this matter.
- Best regards,

- As I mentioned quite clearly above, you are not eligible to edit within this topic space. What other users do in violation of the Arbitration Committee ruling is irrelevant; in most cases they are technically restricted and in the cases they are not, we will eventually clean up their edits as well. ⇒SWATJester Shoot Blues, Tell VileRat! 04:47, 8 April 2025 (UTC)

- I'm not entirely sure which edit you're referring to, but please ask the editor directly on their user talk page about your concerns. Edits from IP users are not treated differently from those with accounts. 331dot (talk) 19:22, 4 April 2025 (UTC)
- Are you referring to edits about Israel, as the above notice mentions? 331dot (talk) 19:24, 4 April 2025 (UTC)
- Yes, If you review the edit history, you’ll notice that the IP user made an edit adding information about S.W.A.T to the page. However, I found this to be irrelevant to Israel's Yasam unit, as S.W.A.T is an American term. My edit aimed to correct this misinformation, yet I’m confused as to why my edit was reverted while the user's edit—whether intentionally or not—was reinstated despite being factually incorrect. Could you explain why this decision was made? Averytiredturkey3 (talk) 19:28, 4 April 2025 (UTC)
- Your edit was removed because you are not extended confirmed(as noted above). The information you removed(the reference to SWAT) was from what I can see added by an IP user, who shouldn't be editing about it either, so I removed the edit. This isn't a judgement as to if the information is correct- only that it shouldn't have been made due to the restrictions surrounding editing about the Arab-Israeli conflict. 331dot (talk) 19:41, 4 April 2025 (UTC)

[edit] Hello, I'm Remsense. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Haiti, but the source cited did not support that content. It has been removed for now, but if you would like to include a citation that verifies the content and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Remsense ‥ 论 20:05, 5 April 2025 (UTC)

[edit] Hello, I'm Fifteen thousand two hundred twenty four. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Josh Kraft, but you didn't provide a reliable source. On Wikipedia, it's important that article content be verifiable. If you'd like to resubmit your change with a citation, your edit is archived in the page history. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Please also consider using a more descriptive edit summary than "Minor tweaks" when making content edits such as changing donation figures.
