Four Mile Run Trail

Hello Antony! Regarding this edit: where does the trail go north-west past the 0.5mi marker? I've seen the obvious 0.5mi marker near the split, and I've been looking everywhere for the 0mi marker and don't seem to see it on the footpath down the creek, or anywhere on the W&OD. I suspect that the Four Mile Run Trail continues concurrently with the Washington and Old Dominion Trail southwestward to the middle of Benjamin Banneker Park. From there, the Four Mile Run Trail continues west and ends at Van Buren Street, while the Washington and Old Dominion Trail runs north over this bridge and eventually rejoins the old rail right-of-way. It's hard to find sources for this, but old maps might help, as the Four Mile Run Trail is older than the Washington and Old Dominion Trail. Antony–22 (^talk⁄_contribs) 00:03, 12 February 2025 (UTC)

In the longer term, there's an argument for this page being merged to United States Department of Health and Human Services (kept as a history of the potential breakup of the department). For now, though, it seem reasonable to keep this article separate; it is appropriately referenced, and has a remarkably neutral tone.

There's a hint of WP:CRYSTALBALL about the early creation of this article, particularly in conjunction with the parallel 2025 U.S. Department of Health and Human Services reorganization, but given the importance of the topic is seems reasonable to carry it. In some places there is unclear tense (a 'planned agency' and 'the creation of the AHA was'), but this is likely to continue for a while as we move towards the creation of the 'administration'. Appropriately linked; well-written and structured; a hot topic.
