[edit] Hello, I'm Fanfanboy. I noticed that you recently removed content from Mokotów Field without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. fanfanboy (blocktalk) 16:27, 2 April 2025 (UTC)
Reply: This was not a mistake. Pole Mokotowskie is a common name that everyone understands. Any website will say Pole Mokotowskie. This is why I moved the page to Pole Mokotowskie.
You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you remove or blank page content or templates from Wikipedia without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary, as you did at Mokotów Field. Thewindbird (talk) 16:34, 2 April 2025 (UTC)
Reply: I did NOT blank the page. Are you seeing anything? I redirected it to Pole Mokotowskie, which I believe is the common name of the park.73.158.229.99 (talk) 16:37, 2 April 2025 (UTC)
Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give a page a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into another page with a different name. This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.
In most cases for registered users, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Requests for history merge. Thank you. [edit]Howdy fellow Wikipedia editor,
I'm here to encourage you to work collaboratively with other interested editors.
This large change will require consensus. Thanks in advance, Augmented Seventh🎱 16:50, 2 April 2025 (UTC)
- Please do not move a page by copy and pasting it's content. The right way to go about this is to make a request. I will block you if you continue to edit war. ⇌ Jake Wartenberg 16:51, 2 April 2025 (UTC)

. Daniel Case (talk) 21:52, 2 April 2025 (UTC)- @Daniel Case, I am not sure that this block was necessary as the user stopped edit warring and opened a talk page discussion after being warned. There is no reason to think that they were aware of our policies on edit warring based on the earlier warnings that they received. ⇌ Jake Wartenberg 14:26, 4 April 2025 (UTC)
- I will unblock. Daniel Case (talk) 15:42, 4 April 2025 (UTC)
