Ekwendeni Girls’ Secondary School is an all-girls high school in the village of Ekwendeni in the Northern Region of Malawi. It is about 20 kilometres (12 mi) from the region's capital Mzuzu, in the Mzimba District.

History

In the 1950s girls in Ekwendeni began to receive lessons in home economics.^[1]

Ekwendeni Girls’ Secondary School was opened by Church of Central Africa Presbyterian's Synod of Livingstonia in 1975.^[2] Founded in 1975
