The Moose Fire was a wildfire in Lemhi County, Idaho, United States. It began north of Salmon near the community of North Fork on July 17, 2022. The fire ultimately burned 130,205 acres before being 100% contained.[1] Two firefighters, both helicopter crewmembers were killed while fighting the fire.
