About Me

I joined Wikimedia Uganda in 2018 and I'm based in Kampala, Uganda. I am a woman's human rights defender. My passion is internet freedom and digital rights, human rights, gender and ICT, research, policy analysis, volunteering and writing.

My Work

I was part of the Core Organising Team 2022 for Wikimania. Piror to Wikimania, I was the Scholarship Lead for Wiki Indaba Conference in 2021 and I additionally, supported communications department at the conference.

I have been organising WikiForHumanRights, and WikiForRefugees from 2019 until 2024. I am leading the organising of Wiki Loves Earth from 2022 to 2025. In 2024, I led the organising of Arts and Feminism in Uganda. In 2025, I will be leading Arts +Feminism in Uganda.

Additionally, I have been involved in global advocacy work of the Wikimedia Foundation on Global Digital Compact and Copyright and Intellectual Property work.
