I am an avid tech user and internet junkie, regardless of the facts ,I consider my time spent reading Wikipedia to be productive at broadening my horizons on information topics I don't know about, and with learning new information on topics I already care about.
I consider Wikipedia's independence a critical part of the internet, as one of the key sources for providing the unbiased facts and journalism that is paid for by its users, without external influences and attempts to squash or bias information. Getting the real truth about any topic is incredibly difficult, and made worse by the powerful and corrupted individuals in the world who seek to control the sources and sharing of information that may hurt them.
I hope to contribute to this fight to provide information and editing to Wikipedia that gives accurate and fair coverage that may change my viewpoint or provide key insights to background information many people may not know about a topic, and allow them to draw their own conclusions.
Outside this I love hanging out with my family, taking care of my nephew, and tinkering with new tech products.
