Kia ora, I'm a 6th generation Pākehā living in the land of the long white cloud. My nom de plume here was something I (mistakenly) only thought about for 5 seconds, and I'm waiting to build up enough edits to change it to something more linguistically pleasing.
I'm interested in a lot of disparate topics, but I have a focus on creating, improving and maintaining Aotearoa-related pages, alongside politics, history and music pages. Outside of "seriously" working on pages I'm directly interested in, I try to clean up the site as I browse when I spot issues.
I have always been interested in the niche, obscure, and fringe, and my work on here reflects that.
I believe it's a lot more important to get a Stub or Start class article to a C than a C to a GA/FA. Giving other editors a solid foundation to add onto should be a priority of editors. "Incrementalism" as an editing philosophy only works after this baseline has been met, and large, or radical, edits must often be pursued to reach that level. Much of the time, it's unlikely anyone else will do that work, and if you have the expertise, you should do it.
